At Utah Spine Medicine, your health and safety are of the utmost importance. Due to the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, our office has instituted precautions in order to protect our patients and employees. These include mandatory masks, staggering arrivals, temperature screening, rigorous cleaning procedures and Telehealth follow-up appointments.
We require all patients and companions to wear masks at all times during your visit. If anyone is unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, you will need to show a physician's note verifying this.
We are making every attempt to stagger patient arrivals so there is no line for check-in. We also take patients to rooms as quickly as possible to lessen time in our waiting area. Only one companion per patient will be allowed in our clinic. Any other companions will be asked to wait in their car.
Upon entry to our office, all employees' temperatures are taken and anyone with symptoms is asked to stay home.
Also, all patients will be screened prior to their appointment. We will take your temperature and ask that you fill out a short questionnaire.
All exam rooms and medical equipment are disinfected between each patient. We also wipe down high touch surfaces and have installed HEPA air filters in all exam rooms and patient areas in our clinic.
Dr. Cheng is pleased to offer a Telehealth option to established patients, when appropriate. These visits include video and are billed through insurance.
Thank you to everyone for your cooperation and patience during this time.
